Kerala Congress: The Kerala unit of the Congress on Sunday (August 1) expelled AICC member Simi Rosebell John from the primary membership of the party for her remarks against women party leaders. In fact, she had alleged that there is a “casting couch” in the Congress just like in the film industry.

In which she said that women members often have to endure exploitation to get opportunities within the Congress party.
